With its optimum designed aerodynamic flowpath through the valve the ZB produces very low pressure losses. The axial design allows for a streamlined flow path around the disc and high pressure recovery, minimising pressure drop across the valve. This highly efficient design combined with the highly responsive non-slam operation make this valve ideally suited to demanding check valve applications.
