Oil and Gas Production
Goodwin Check Valves are specified and used throughout the design of oil and gas production facilities, both onshore and offshore, from the high pressure flowlines through to on-platform processing. Goodwin has supplied to over 1000 offshore projects globally meeting the stringent specifications associated with the offshore industry.
With over 20 years of experience of valve manufacture for cryogenic applications, Goodwin has supplied to many of the world’s most prestigious LNG projects supplying to all aspects of the LNG chain: gas liquefaction and export, ocean going LNG tankers, receiving / regasification terminal projects.

Chemical & Fertilisers
In chemical plants such as PTA, VAM, VCM, and in the Ammonia, Urea and Nitrate plants of fertilizer complexes, Goodwin Check Valves are in use throughout these processes protecting plant and equipment. Typically, as in PTA, with these plants the materials are highly corrosion resistant such as Titanium.
Desalination – the provision of clean water; the process of converting salt water into fresh water for human consumption and irrigation. The 2 principal processes are multi-stage flash distillation and reverse osmosis (RO). For steam turbine power plant the steam is created by boiling water by nuclear fission or the burning of fossil fuels or geothermal power.
